Butyl Acetate

Butyl acetate, also known as butyl ethanoate, is generally used as a medium polar and high boiling solvent.

It is an excellent solvent for butyl acetate, cellulose nitrate, polymers, resins, inks, adhesives, and oils. Butyl acetate is used in paint and varnish production. Butyl acetate used in leather and chemical industry is also used as an essential oil in cosmetics. Butyl acetate is also used as a fruit flavor in the food industry.
