Iso Butyl Acetate

Iso butyl acetate, ethyl acetate, also known as 2-methyl propyl ethanoate or p-methylpropyl acetate, is produced in the fermentation step.

Isobutyl acetate, which is used as a solvent in paint and cellulose manufacturing, is used as a solvent in varnishes and topcoats too. Iso butyl acetate has the ability to remove caffeine in pharmaceutical processes, perfume ingredients, cellulosic thinner structure, coffee, and tea. Also in the field of entomology insects are terminated painlessly by inhaling ethyl acetate.
