Trichloroethylen

Trichloroethylene is a volatile liquid composed of organic halogen compounds.

Since trichloroethylene is not flammable under room conditions, it is used as a solvent in dry cleaning processes, degreasing metal materials and extracting oil and waxes from cotton and wool. Trichloroethylene acts as an industrial solvent in extraction processes, as a diluent in paints and adhesives, as a chemical intermediate or as a raw material in the production of paints and varnishes.
